Job Announcements - Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants

The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) Office of Infant and Early Childhood Special Programs (OIECSP) is currently seeking to fill three full-time positions for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants to work with First Class Pre K classrooms, Early Intervention Programs and in North Alabama/Birmingham, to work with pregnant women and moms receiving substance use treatment, and the staff that serve them.

We are seeking to fill these positions for the following regions (will be responsible for multiple counties within region hired). Anyone interested in applying for these positions must go to ADMH website and apply for the specific region interested in being considered for. Applications accepted until filled.

Region I – North Alabama (office location will most likely be in Huntsville, Florence, or Decatur, depending on where the person hired lives). This position will join a previously hired IECMHC to jointly cover all of North Alabama.

Region IV – Montgomery/Southeast Alabama – office will be located in Montgomery or Troy, depending on where the person hired lives. This is the only current IECMHC position being filled in this region.

Region V – Birmingham/Central Alabama- office will be located in Birmingham area.
